loved the plot

the narrator seemed monotone for me. the other narrators were pretty good, the first narrator of the Afterlife Saga was the best yet!! 🥰🥰

story was good narration was awful

I love this series but book four narration was not good at all . american accent for the first 3 then an english accent. it was a no go for me.

so are we not finishing this

Loved the book, wish we had not changed the narrator. Just wondering if they are ever going to finish the series, because they already started the next one.

Love the story

I love the story Stephanie does an amazing job writing. I love all the books. The narrator has a monotone voice and is so slow. I am pushing through the audio on 1,7 speed just to have her read normal. She reads so slow it drives me insane. She has one voice for all characters. Rebecca rains for for afterlife has a voice for all the different characters and nails pup perfectly along with the rest of the characters.

Narrator

Yes, it's hard to get used to a new voice, but I think the narrator is impressive as Lucius.

Book good, reader not.

The reader stunk! She made pip sound horrible & you could hardly distinguish between characters. Pls she was torturing!

Need the first narrator back

I never leave reviews, good or bad, but I have to get on the bandwagon with this one. It took getting used to the change in narrators from the afterlife series to the transfusion series, but she did a good job and by the 2nd book really made Lucious and Amelias characters great… then the switch. New narrator is so monotone, I found myself having to rewind several times and listen over because I would zone out. She would do good for a history book, her voice is fine, there is zero nuance to it, but NOT good for a high energy, action, supernatural romance novel. As much as I have spent on Audible over the last few years I expect better, much better. Going to drudge through the next book, but I’m REALLY hoping they go back to original for the rest of the series or I may not pay to listen, I’ll just read the books.

Love the story

The narrating was not so good. I have absolutely loved all the narration of the audible books, but the narrator on this one was not great. I loved the narration on books one through three I’m not exactly sure why you change narrators, but she wasn’t very good.

Detail Overload

I LOVE Lucius and Amelia! Have loved Lucius since Afterlife. I really struggle with the author’s overkill on explaining every single detail though. But my love of the characters keeps me going. I found that the audiobooks make getting through the pointless details easier.
